YMBL Fall League Q&A

Welcome to the home of the YMBL. We're excited to kickoff PSA's Fall 25 Youth Muslim Basketball League (YMBL)! We're glad to have you on board. Please read through this Q&A before registering. Division groupings will be based on final registration.  We will have approximately five divisions based on age and gender.

The player's age on August 22nd (draft day) will determine which division they will play in. Please email us if you have any questions! 

The draft will give the coaches a fair opportunity to choose the players for their team. All players/coaches must attend the draft on August 22nd at 6:15pm at 

Waterford Park @ 15090 South Waterford Drive, Davie FL 33331

If a player is unable to attend the draft, they will be randomly assigned to a team.  If you will miss the draft, please email theprosportsacademy@gmail.com asap to inform us.

No, we have a draft to allow the coaches to choose players to balance the league as best as possible. Coaches are allowed their own child(ren) on their team. No other players can be hand-picked for their team. They can still be drafted by the coach if they choose to do so. We also do not pair friends together.

Practice time and locations will be determined by your child's volunteer coach. Please make sure to save your child's coach's contact information so you can contact them.

All games are located at CAD Davie on Friday nights September 5th - October 3rd between 6:30pm -10:30pm. Teams will play 1-2, games a night depending on the final schedule.

Full game schedule, as well as playoff schedule, will be provided to the coaches before the season begins.

3. Attend the draft and orientation on August 22nd.
4. You will be added to WhatsApp group and introduced to your child's coach
5. Start practices and receive jersey & final game schedule 
6. Games begin on September 5th.

Note: There will be a mandatory Coaches and Volunteers (online) meeting that each coach and volunteer will need to attend before the start of the season.
